We are only weeks away from seeing whether or not Democracy stands a chance against ongoing efforts to undermine elections. It is more important than ever that everyone, everywhere understands what is happening and what we can do to save our democracy and protect our vote!

Protecting our democracy protects our public schools. 

Right now, the federal government is making wildly unpopular decisions like funneling public money to private schools, underfunding schools and reducing students' civil rights by dismantling the Department of Education, and slashing billions of dollars from schools through Medicaid and other cuts. If we want a chance to change these decisions, we need to protect our vote and be prepared to defend the results of free and fair elections.

We are bringing people together to learn more about what threats we will face during and after the upcoming elections and what we can all do about it. 

These trainings will help everyone gain the following skills: 

• Strategize on election defense challenges and how to safely take nonviolent action
• Create a local solidarity network to share information and be ready to activate to protect and defend our democracy
• Understand what these threats mean to public education and how we can protect our students and our communities to ensure everyone has the freedom to thrive in safe and welcoming public schools.
