Summer Summit

We cordially invite you to join us the evening before the Summit on the beautiful UW-Superior campus for a WELCOME RECEPTION & GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE FORUM.

We're planning party that will be both fun and meaningful: in addition to heavy appetizers and a cash bar to welcome you to Superior, you will have the chance to mingle with the candidates for Governor and public school champions from across the state and country, and learn where the candidates stand on education issues as they participate in a forum that will likely be the last time the candidates will be in one room before the August primary.

One of the many reasons we are so excited to head to Superior for this year's Summit is that our friends and partners in the northwoods are often expected to head south to join us —or to be heard by decision-makers. This is a rare opportunity for both public school champions and the gubernatorial candidates to put our values into action and reinforce our commitment to the shared belief that every single student in every single public school in every corner of the state is worthy of our attention and advocacy.

Thursday evening's reception will be the perfect kickoff to a full day of learning, planning, and connecting at the main event on Friday, July 24 at Superior High School.

BE IN THE ROOM—WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

Reception is free with Summit registration and open to community members!

GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE FORUM QUESTION SUBMISSION
Our Gubernatorial Candidate Forum is an opportunity for us to learn where the candidates really stand on education issues, and we need YOUR input to make sure we ask the questions that most need to be answered. Please submit your questions for consideration by the planning team HERE, and help others make an informed decision when they vote in the August 11th primary election.
